ENT Ward is located at the First Floor of the Green Block.
What is ENT Ward?
ENT Ward is an 18 bedded, mixed Otolaryngology ward that caters for all medical and surgical ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) cases. It also accommodates maxillo-facial and dental cases. Patients are admitted to this ward either elective having a set date for surgery or through the ENT Admitting and Emergency Department being also based in the ENT ward.
Most of the operated patients are followed up at the ENT Outpatients.
Meal times
Patients have the opportunity of ordering their lunch and dinner from an established menu. A staff member will go around the patients in the morning so that the order is taken for the next day.
- Breakfast: 7:30am to 8:00am
- Lunch: 11:30am to 12:30pm
- Dinner: 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Visiting times
Monday to Sunday (including public holidays):
- 11:30 to 13:00 (2 visitors at any one time)
- 15:00 to 20:00 (2 visitors at any one time)
Special permits for visiting outside the established visiting hours may be given to relatives on the discretion of the Charge Nurse. Parents are allowed to stay with children under the age of 18 years.
