Athletic adolescents and adults with cardiac symptoms, an abnormal ECG, a relevant family history, or a suspicion of heart disease are seen in this weekly specialised cardiology clinic for an expert evaluation. An evidenced based risk stratification coupled with exercise recommendations are often discussed in patients with confirmed heart disease. The clinic offers a robust evaluation, encompassing several diagnostic tests to assess and treat cardiovascular disease. Some of these tests include:
- Resting 12-lead ECG
- High lead ECG
- Echocardiography
- Holter monitoring
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET)
