The Gynae Outpatients/Antenatal Clinic is found on the ground floor of the Outpatients Department.

• Monday to Friday from 7.30 am until 12.30 pm.
• Saturdays (for Bone Density, Ultrasound and CTG Monitor appointments only).

Services

The GOP clinic attends to the needs of women who have gynaecological problems and provides services to expectant ladies.

A team including nurses and midwives, look after patients while visiting this clinic.

Making a new case appointment with Gynae & Ante-Natal Out Patients

New Case appointments are given by the Main Reception staff after presenting a referral completed by a general practitioner.

N.B. Cancellations and re-booking of new case appointments should be done through the Main Reception.

Making a follow-up appointment with the Gynae & Ante-Natal Outpatients Clinic

Follow-ups are booked by the Gynae Out-patients Clinic and entered on the patient’s Blue Ticket.

Cancellation of appointments and re-scheduling of follow-up appointments can be done by telephone.

Referral to Social Workers

Referrals to Social Workers are done on a special form which should be signed by the Nursing and Midwifery Staff. A list of referred patients is forwarded to the Social Workers daily by Gynae Out-patients Nursing Staff. Patients are informed that they will be contacted by a Social Worker shortly.

Renewal of Schedule V card and DTC permit

Renewals of Schedule V card and DTC permits are managed by Gynae Out-patients staff via appointment. Applications are then sent to the relevant section by this Clinic.
